Biography
Taylor is a doctoral student at the University of Cambridge and an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of Leicester. She spends most of her time thinking about the dead and how they can be studied from different perspectives. Her research focuses on incorporating feminist and queer theoretical approaches into the examination of sex estimation across two different geo-temporal periods.
Taylor has taught a wide range of subjects in archaeology and biological anthropology and cherishes a laid-back, hands-on style of teaching. Currently, she is a small-group supervisor for students in the Department of Archaeology at Cambridge, where discussions often include activities such as colouring (something one is never too old to enjoy). Some of her favourite courses to teach include her time as a tutorial lead for Archaeology of Popular Culture and exploring representations of archaeology in popular media.
