Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in Health Data Science at the University of Cambridge and a Senior Researcher at Dementias Platform UK with strong foundation in mathematical statistics and health data science. I holds an undergraduate degree in statistics, complemented by two Master of Science degrees, in Mathematical Statistics and in Health Data Science. My doctoral research project was focused on, AI and machine learning approaches for risk prediction in patients with atrial fibrillation. With a track record of over 12 years in the field of health data research, I lead the design, analysis, and implementation of national and international projects, focusing on big data in healthcare. My passion lies in advancing healthcare delivery and enhancing patient care through data-driven decision-making. My research portfolio extends to the development of cutting-edge methodologies and advanced analytical techniques.

Beyond my research, I am passionately dedicated to education and mentorship, with a particular focus on postgraduate courses. Drawing on my expertise in data science, analytics, and computational methods, I actively contributes to bring research to the heart of my teaching and using current practices for improving population health.
